The name

/ˈriː.mor/ · Latin, verb

  1. 1to search into, to probe.
  2. 2to examine closely, to turn over in the mind.
  3. 3from rima, a crack or fissure.
The mark

A whole surface, one seam, one point of light.

Most loan applications are whole. The seam marks the place where one stops behaving like a genuine borrower.

Read the notch as a crack, or as the spike on a trace. It is both, and that's the job: find the one place where the surface gives, and show exactly where it is.

The ember inside the seam is the evidence coming through. It comes back as the dot over the i in our name.

What we believe

Four rules we don't bend.

01

Evidence over scores

A number nobody can explain is a liability. Every Rimor decision comes with the evidence behind it.

02

Prove before deciding

We start silent, in shadow mode, and earn the right to touch a decision with results on the lender's own book.

03

Collect less

If it needs an invasive permission or reads what someone writes, we don't want it.

04

Keep it in India

Indian borrowers, Indian lenders, Indian servers. No exceptions for convenience.

The team

Built by three founders in India.

We started Rimor in 2026 after seeing how much lending fraud passes every document check. Today we're working with our first lending partner.
